Sorry for causing you inconvenience during the absence.

Because of the new CITES regulation effective January 2, 2017, any amount of
any kind of rosewood (Dalbergia spp.) and certain types of bubinga (Guibourtia) can not be
imported or exported without CITES certificate.
The new regulation applies to not only finished musical instruments, but component parts like
guitar necks, guitar bridges, or something else that we have supplied.
It does not apply to transactions within the borders of your country.
Hosco is now confirming how we can get the CITES certificate for export,
but please understand that we would not be able to supply the rosewood products
as same as before.
We have heard that there were some differences on the procedures for the new CITES
regulation by the government of each country.
We can confirm the Japanese procedures by ourselves, but unfortunately we have
little information about the other countries at the moment.
If you tell us about the situation of your country, it will be very helpful for us.
Lastly, the new CITES regulation is a kind of difficulties for everyone
in the musical instrument industry.
However, we do hope that our customers and us will get over the difficulties
and expand business each other.

Thank you.
